One of the services I offer is ‘Elite Event Management’ where I create bespoke, luxury experiences for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (Multi-Millionaires & Billionaires) mainly from the Middle East.
Recently, I worked side by side with Manchester United to create the ULTIMATE VIP experience for one of my Elite Clients. One that had NEVER been done before.
As I met with my contact at Manchester United, I rolled off my crazy request and thought
“There is no way this will be approved” but much to my surprise. He looked back at me, smiled and said “I love it. I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this. Let’s make it happen!” and right away, we got to work!
It required approvals and sign offs from The Board Directors, vigorous security checks and many departmental meetings but once word had got around the Stadium everyone was excited.
For one evening, we shut down Manchester United, the biggest club in the world. The Stadium grounds were completely cleared and we were handed the keys. We chauffeured my client by Rolls Royce from The Bulgari Hotel in London to a private Heliport and flew him directly to Manchester United Stadium.
On arrival he was greeted by a red carpet, managers, MUTV and a team of security- where he was then given a private night time tour of ‘The Theatre of Dreams’, he sat in the seat of the legend Sir Alex Ferguson, stood in the directors box and was presented hand made gifts from Manchester United including a shirt personally signed by Jose Mourhino & bespoke leather photo album hand signed by his favourite players; Smalling, Young, Jones, Carrick, Fellani.
He dined in the TV Studio Suite with Andy Cole (English former professional footballer) whilst enjoying ‘Hands on History’– championship trophy collection and the shirts & boots of Football Legends such as: David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Head Chef put together a bespoke banquet, out sourcing his favourite champagne and importing the finest Beluga caviar for his arrival.
After the bespoke banquet, my client was escorted to the Manchester United Megastore which was opened up just for him with four members of staff rostered on for the evening, two of them being personal shoppers. Every item purchased was personalised and shipped directly to him following his departure- for that extra added VIP touch!
It was an incredibly exciting evening for everybody involved and it went seamlessly – thanks to the amazing team at Manchester United who went above and beyond every step of the way to ensure the highest of standards were delivered.
Now, I understand why it is called The Theatre of Dreams!
